Real Connection
You’ve heard the buzzwords: setting boundaries, expressing needs, being vulnerable and authentic with the people you love - the key to happy relationships, right? At least social media (and maybe your therapist) seem to think so.
But does any of that actually mean anything?
Join a small group of others who want to learn new communication skills to deepen their relationships and help build the life they deeply desire.
Communication Office Hours is a laboratory for exploring and practicing essential communication skills. Each session begins with a discussion of an essential communication skill, applied to participants’ unique life situations. Then, workshop each skill in class with other participants to gain confidence and prepare for real-life application.
Define, understand, and practice:
Understanding, respecting, and communicating feelings
Developing and setting healthy boundaries
Active listening & compassionate understanding
Nonverbal communication
Self-advocacy and assertiveness
Productive apologies
Deciding when conversation isn’t working and what to do about it instead
This one’s for you
This one’s for the people pleasers, the burnt-out, the shy, the anxious, and anyone who finds something stops their communication before it starts.
Learn tested approaches, discover your communication values, and get comfortable with skills you can use at home, at work, and with loved ones.
